Vaccines are free for everyone in New Zealand aged 12 and over.
A lot of the advice around vaccines refers to workers. It is important to note, in regards to vaccinations, the term “Workers” includes both paid and unpaid workers.
Vaccines are voluntary and individuals cannot be forced to have a vaccine. Some work environments have mandated vaccination requirements. It is also important to note that in some workplaces a worker may need to be vaccinated to perform a specific role in for health and safety reasons. This must be assessed by each organisation.

Are you prepared if you or your whanau get COVID-19?. Check out the COVIDReadiness Check list and the Whanau Plan.
We encourage volunteer/community organisations to be one-step ahead with their COVID readiness. Can another person easily pick up a role if that role holder must isolate? We may see a greater demand for volunteers over the next few months. We will continue to list volunteer roles on our website and work with organisations to support their changing volunteer needs.
The
key message is that we are here for you. You can reach our three
