Newlands Resilience Group, operating under ACoRN, is building community resilience across Newlands, Paparangi, Woodridge, and Bellevue so residents can face any challenge together. Community Connectors and Street Contacts are the people who make neighbourhood-level connection real.

This volunteer opportunity is open to local residents, either as one of four area Coordinators (supporting their neighbourhood, liaising with Street Contacts, and working with the ACoRN board) or as a Street Contact (gathering neighbours, building cohesion, and reporting to their Coordinator). The commitment is approximately three hours per week.

What you'll bring:
• A genuine connection to your local neighbourhood
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Residence in Newlands, Paparangi, Woodridge, or Bellevue

You might be a great fit if you are:
• A natural connector who knows your neighbours
• Self-motivated and community-minded
• Committed to helping your street and neighbourhood thrive

Training Provided: Details to be confirmed with the organisation.
