SuperGrans Charitable Trust supports families to build practical life skills and the confidence to manage their household and thrive independently. The Skills2Live and Whānau Connect programmes provide a warm, practical mentoring relationship that empowers lasting change.

This volunteer opportunity involves being matched with a family in Wellington and sharing practical knowledge across areas such as home management, cooking, budgeting, and positive parenting. Community Mentors visit regularly and support families to make positive changes at their own pace.

What you'll bring:
• Life experience and practical skills in homemaking, cooking, or parenting
• Warmth, patience, and a genuine interest in helping families
• Reliability and consistency over the programme period

You might be a great fit if you are:
• Empathetic, non-judgmental, and naturally supportive
• Motivated by walking alongside people through challenges
• Comfortable building trust with families from diverse backgrounds

Training Provided: Full induction and ongoing support provided by SuperGrans.
