Sustainability Trust delivers innovative social and environmental programmes in Te Upoko o Te Ika a Māui, and the Wellington Curtain Bank is one of its signature services, providing affordable insulation for thousands of homes while keeping curtains out of landfill. Accurate curtain assessment is the first step in getting the right curtains to the right homes.

This volunteer opportunity involves assessing donated curtains at the Sustainability Trust warehouse, measuring them, determining whether they are suitable for distribution, and completing the associated database entries so that each pair of curtains can be found and matched to a home in need. Shifts are flexible.
