Hutt Valley DHB is committed to delivering the best possible health outcomes for families and communities across the lower North Island. The Meals on Wheels programme supports elderly, unwell, and isolated people in the Hutt Valley to remain living at home by ensuring they receive hot, nutritious meals.
This volunteer opportunity involves delivering meals to people in need across the Hutt Valley, with an urgent need for a volunteer on the Wainui run. Delivery sessions take place on rostered weekday late mornings for approximately two hours, with mileage reimbursed monthly. Backup drivers are also warmly welcomed.
What you'll bring:
• A current, full NZ driver's licence
• A reliable, insured vehicle
• Good time management and punctuality

• Warm, dependable, and genuinely caring
• Comfortable visiting people at home and checking in on their wellbeing
• Consistent and available for regular rostered shifts
