Kiwi Community Assistance (KCA) is a Greater Wellington charity rescuing surplus food and providing essentials to over 8,000 people each month. Sunday food rescue runs are a key part of keeping this mahi going, and volunteer support keeps the supply chain moving.

This volunteer opportunity involves joining KCA's Sunday food rescue run from 8:30am to 11:30am, visiting two or three local supermarkets in the Johnsonville area, sorting and boxing donated food, checking use-by dates, photographing and uploading donations to Facebook, and delivering food to KCA's refrigerated warehouse. A minimum six-month monthly commitment is requested, with a preference for volunteers who can also cover Thursday and Friday chiller truck drives when needed.

What you'll bring:
• A current, full NZ driver's licence
• Own transport to Johnsonville
• Reliability and attention to detail for food safety checks
