Guide leader Brownie leader or Ranger leader
Wellington
GirlGuiding New Zealand empowers girls and young women to develop into confident, adventurous, and empowered leaders in their local, national, and global communities. Through a non-competitive, values-based programme, GirlGuiding creates a safe and positive environment where girls can be themselves and discover what they are capable of.
This volunteer opportunity involves leading a Brownie, Guide, or Ranger group in Wellington, with meetings on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays after 5:30 pm. Whether working with Brownies, Guides, or Rangers, volunteers help create adventures and experiences that build confidence, friendship, and leadership skills in young women.
What you'll bring:
• Enthusiasm for working with young women aged 5 to 17
• Previous experience with youth groups or guiding is an advantage
• Relevant leader qualifications (support provided if not yet obtained)
You might be a great fit if you are:
• Energetic, patient, and inspiring
• A role model who leads by example
• Reliable and committed to evening meetings during term time
Training Provided: Full leader training and support provided by GirlGuiding NZ.
