Te Omanga Hospice provides compassionate specialist palliative care to Hutt Valley whānau in one of the most significant transitions of life. Kitchen support volunteers help ensure patients and families are well nourished and cared for throughout their stay.
This volunteer opportunity involves supporting the kitchen team at Te Omanga Hospice in Lower Hutt, assisting with meal preparation, serving, dishwashing, and other kitchen duties as directed by the kitchen coordinator. Hours and shifts are flexible and arranged with the organisation.
What you'll bring:
• Kitchen or food preparation experience
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Physical fitness for kitchen-based work
