Established in 1903, the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society is devoted to promoting and practising horticulture in all its forms across the Hutt Valley. Good administration is the backbone of a well-run society, and the General Secretary plays a key role in keeping everything running smoothly.

This volunteer opportunity involves managing day-to-day administration as directed by committee members and the President, recording minutes at committee and annual general meetings, maintaining up-to-date contact information for members and affiliated groups, and acting as a key point of contact for the membership. The committee meets on the third Wednesday of every month.
