Established in 1903, the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society has promoted and practised horticulture in all its forms across the Hutt Valley for over a century. Committee volunteers are the heartbeat of the Society's beloved flower shows, bringing colour, energy, and community together.

This volunteer opportunity involves helping set up and pack away show equipment, assisting on the front entry desk, writing up prize cards and certificates for all adult and junior classes, and ensuring certificates and gift vouchers are available for prize-winners. Volunteers work collaboratively with the President and Event Manager across the Moera Hall, the Lower Hutt Event Centre, and the Walter Nash Centre.

What you'll bring:
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort working across event setup, entry desk, and administration
• Reliability and flexibility across event dates

You might be a great fit if you are:
• Enthusiastic about horticulture and community events
• A great team player who enjoys a busy, hands-on event environment
• Dependable and willing to contribute wherever needed

Training Provided: Details to be confirmed with the organisation.
