Visitor for Older People - Hutt Valley
Hutt
Age Concern Wellington Region Trust is committed to a Wellington region where older people are thriving, respected, and actively engaged in community life. For older people living with isolation in the Hutt Valley, a regular friendly visit from a volunteer can provide meaningful connection and real improvements to their wellbeing.
This volunteer opportunity involves visiting an isolated older person in their home for one hour each week, attending support group meetings, and keeping in regular contact with the coordinator. By offering their time and presence, volunteers help uphold the dignity and quality of life of older people in the Hutt Valley community.
