At Land Information Freehold Education (LIFE) Trust, the Toi Whakapapa programme uses personal stories told through art, family trees, and memories to help rangatahi explore their connection to whakapapa and whenua. Bringing these animated stories to life through voice acting is central to making the learning experience compelling.

This volunteer opportunity involves recording voiceover and narration content for a series of completed 2D animated educational videos, working from finalised scripts and storyboards used in both in-person and online learning environments. Tasks include reviewing scripts, recording rough voice passes for feedback, and ensuring all te reo Māori content is approved by the LIFE Trust team before final delivery. Sessions are on Wednesdays from 11am to 1pm plus independent work time.
