At Land Information Freehold Education (LIFE) Trust, the Toi Whakapapa programme uses personal stories told through whakapapa, art, and memory to connect rangatahi to their land, whānau, and identity. A series of completed 2D animated videos brings these stories to life for learners across Aotearoa New Zealand.

This volunteer opportunity involves recording voiceover and vocal or singing content for completed animated videos based on existing scripts and storyboards. Tasks include reviewing scripts, recording rough voice passes, and ensuring te reo Māori pronunciation is reviewed by the LIFE Trust team before final delivery. Sessions are on Wednesdays from 11am to 1pm, with additional independent recording time.

What you'll bring:
• A strong, clear, and engaging vocal or singing voice
• Willingness to learn and accurately pronounce te reo Māori
• Access to basic recording equipment or comfort with remote sessions
