Upper Hutt Housing Trust supports people experiencing homelessness and insecure housing to find and sustain permanent, safe homes. Volunteer Advocates and Mentors provide the human connection and practical guidance that makes the difference between crisis and stability.

This volunteer opportunity involves working alongside housing clients as an Advocate or Mentor, supporting them to navigate housing systems, build tenancy skills, access community resources, and maintain their housing over time. Training and supervision are provided, and the commitment is flexible.
