The CanInspire Charitable Trust has been supporting people with illness, trauma, and loss since 2010, providing a non-judgmental and creative space where distraction through activity is used as a meaningful form of support. Creative workshops are at the heart of this work.

This volunteer opportunity involves supporting CanInspire workshop sessions, helping participants engage with creative activities, providing encouragement and practical assistance, and contributing to the warm and supportive environment that makes each session possible. Hours and session times are negotiated with the organisation.

What you'll bring:
• An interest in creative arts or craft activities
• Warmth, patience, and empathy for people living with illness, trauma, or loss
• Reliability for agreed workshop sessions

You might be a great fit if you are:
• Gentle, non-judgmental, and genuinely present with participants
• Enthusiastic about the power of creative distraction and healing
• A supportive team member who follows the facilitator's lead

Training Provided: Details to be confirmed with the organisation.
