Accompany clients using the therapy pool showers at Wellington South Pool, assisting with personal care in a respectful and dignified way.
Join the Orange Sky team at Strathmore Park on Wednesday evenings, providing free laundry, showers, and warm conversation. 5:30–7:30 pm.
Join the Vogelmorn Community Group’s People Committee, contributing to governance, volunteer programmes, and community engagement.
Support planned activities for people with intellectual disabilities at St John of God’s Karori facility. Flexible hours, variety of activities.
Support a former refugee with two weekly one-hour driving sessions in Wellington over 16–20 weeks. Dual control car provided.
Coordinate a national NGO coalition for Death Without Debt, building relationships with organisations and supporting network communications.
Lead horses and support disabled riders during equine-assisted sessions in Upper Hutt. School term weekdays, some horse experience preferred.
Accompany an older person on a weekly one-hour walk in the Hutt Valley, providing transport to suitable walking areas as needed.
Assist customers, handle cash, and promote programmes at the Dressed on The Terrace recycled clothing boutique. Weekday shifts available.
