Support a monthly group for people in early stages of dementia in Porirua, assisting with activities, socialising, and physical engagement.
Care for your own section of Awatea Community Garden in Porirua East, growing kai and learning new skills at your own pace.
Sort, organise, and price donated clothing at the Yes for Success retail store. Monday to Friday, 9 am – 3 pm.
Visit an isolated older person in the Hutt Valley for one hour weekly, attend support groups, and maintain coordinator contact.
Lead creative workshop sessions at Bhakti Lounge on Thursday evenings, guiding participants through art, crafts, or wellness activities.
Help set up and run the Orange Sky laundry and shower van in Wellington, providing clean clothes and warm conversation to those in need.
